What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a titanium screw that attaches to your jaw bone where a single tooth restoration is placed upon or they can serve as attachments for fixed or removable dentures. During your visit all options for failing or missing teeth will be explained to you and whether dental implants are an option for you.
Placement of Implant:
Fully guided implant surgery will be planned with you and Dr. Tabori. The procedure for a single implant takes approximately 30 minutes. A small circular opening is made into your gum and the implant is placed into the bone. This is allowed to heal for 4 to 6 months.
