After Dental Implant Surgery
Home Instructions:
- Do not rinse, spit, or use a straw on the day of and the day after surgery
- Avoid hot food or beverages
Swelling and Bleeding:
Some light bleeding or the next 24 hours is normal. If bleeding is heavy and cannot be stopped after biting on gauze for 30 minutes, please call Dr. Tabori at 732-666-8650.
To help control swelling, please use an ice pack covered by a towel on the area for the following 48 hours.
Antibiotics:
Please take any medication prescribed by Dr. Tabori as directed to help prevent post-op infections
Denture and Partials:
Please do not place in or use any removable prosthetics that involve the surgery location for the next 10 days.
